Sarah radiated positive energy every time she walked into a room. She was a ray of sunshine. She was well known for wearing big bows, loving unicorns, being a good friend, and the best little sister. Sarah loved playing Monopoly, UNO, crafting, hiking, and dancing. Sarah was adventurous, she loved thrilled rides. She was daddy’s sidekick.
Sarah was seven, when she was diagnosed with terminal brain stem cancer (DIPG). Sarah fought with courage, and a positive attitude every step of the way. During her first day radiation treatment, Sarah was asked what her name was. Sarah replied Bod, she had a great sense of humor. She made everyone laugh despite what she was going through. Sarah taught us to enjoy every moment, always looked for light a midst of darkness. Sarah gained her wings ten months after her diagnosis.
